Members of Nottingham City Council have been warned of the consequences of overspending as its budget is predicted to be breached by £26m.

Members of Nottingham City Council have been warned of the consequences of overspending as its budget is predicted to be breached by £26m.

The ‘significant' predicted overspend for 2023-24 - detailed by officers in a report to senior councillors - equates to 9% of the council's total budget and as it stands would exceed reserves put aside for ‘financial resilience'.
