ONS - Black people four times more likely to die from COVID-19 than whites

Black males and females are more than four times as likely to die from a COVID-19 related death than white ethnicity males and females, according to provisional analysis from the ONS.

When taking into account age in the analysis, black males are 4.2 times more likely to die from deaths that are COVID-19 related and black females 4.3 times more likely than those of white ethnicity of both genders.
