The Local Government Association (LGA) has announced it will overhaul corporate peer challenges after calls from the sector.

The Local Government Association (LGA) has announced it will overhaul corporate peer challenges after calls from the sector.

Chair of the LGA's improvement and innovation board, Cllr David Simmonds, said that under the strengthened system all local authorities would be ‘expected' to have a corporate peer challenge every four or five years.
