Craven DC's chief executive Paul Shevlin has been praised for being ‘well-respected, approachable and accessible' by a Local Government Association corporate peer challenge team.
The report by peers said the rural council was ‘clearly punching above its weight' but success stories were being ‘lost in the narrative about resources'.
