At least 17 councils across England are planning to build super-sized secondary schools with between 12 and 16 forms of entry for each year group.

Northamptonshire CC is currently converting an old postal sorting office into a 2,000-pupil school to help place 70 local children a month while a further 52 children outside the county chase those spots.
