The prime minister has confirmed that West of England devolution will go ahead, despite fears that Brexit and a Parliamentary overhaul had shunted the deal off the table.

The prime minister has confirmed that West of England devolution will go ahead, despite fears that Brexit and a Parliamentary overhaul had shunted the deal off the table.

Bristol City, Bath & North East Somerset and South Gloucestershire Councils signed the £1bn agreement, which included an elected mayor, before the referendum in June.
