Police: Grenfell council could have committed corporate manslaughter

Kensington & Chelsea RLBC and the organisation that managed the Grenfell Tower block could face charges of corporate manslaughter over the fire that killed at least 80 people, the Metropolitan Police has revealed.

Kensington & Chelsea RLBC and the organisation that managed the Grenfell Tower block could face charges of corporate manslaughter over the fire that killed at least 80 people, the Metropolitan Police has revealed.

In a letter to survivors and the families of the victims of the disaster, police said there were ‘reasonable grounds' to suspect the borough and the Kensington & Chelsea Tenant Management Organisation of the offence.
