Pressure on parishes

Government proposals on council tax referenda are worrying and parishes need to voice their concern, says Ian Miller

The Department for Communities and Local Government consultation paper, The 2017-18 Local Government Finance Settlement has some helpful pointers for district councils.

We have an early inkling of the Government's approach to the council tax increases that would trigger a referendum in 2017.
