Dorset Councils Partnership chief executive, Matt Prosser, is expected to take the reins at one of the county's two new unitary authorities.

The recommendation by Dorset Council's shadow senior appointments committee is expected to be rubber-stamped by the full shadow council at a meeting later this month.
