Refocusing on the right interventions

National policy has moved towards the importance of integrated, targeted responses – and Norfolk has developed its new Early Childhood and Family Service with this in mind, says Sara Tough

As the needs of children and young people change and demand on services continues to increase, how and where to deliver services for them is a national challenge.

Norfolk has the political ambition to transform services to have the greatest impact on those who need our help the most. We are investing in services that provide help earlier – building strength and resilience in families. We are also using evidence and data to target our work, joining up services where we can and making the best use of digital technology, so that services meet the needs of today's families.
