Report: LGPS rapidly running out of cash

The local government pension scheme (LGPS) is rapidly running out of cash to pay for pensions, a new report has claimed.

The local government pension scheme (LGPS) is rapidly running out of cash to pay for pensions, a new report has claimed. 

A Centre for Policy Studies paper, published yesterday, insisted wealth funds could only go so far and that infrastructure investment was ‘not a panacea' because of low returns.
