Rollout for financial peer challenge

A specialist form of peer challenge focusing on finance will be rolled out by the Local Government Association (LGA) to more authorities from the autumn.

A specialist form of peer challenge focusing on finance will be rolled out by the Local Government Association (LGA) to more authorities from the autumn.

The LGA hopes to recruit up to 30 more financially qualified peers and associates by the time to ‘programme is in full swing' – bringing the total available to around 80 – members of the association's improvement and innovation board heard last week.
