Peers have dealt a further blow to the Government’s Housing and Planning Bill as the Parliamentary session hurtles towards its climax.

Despite ministers condemning continued attacks on the Bill from peers, Lord Kerslake yesterday tabled a successful amendment to tackle the controversial forced sale of social housing to fund the extension of right to buy.
