Reading Council’s new permanent chief executive, Peter Sloman, has been praised after an Ofsted monitoring visit.

Reading Council's new permanent chief executive, Peter Sloman, has been praised after an Ofsted monitoring visit.

The visit last month was the fourth since the local authority's children's services were judged inadequate in June 2016.
