The shadow social care minister has claimed cuts to adult social care have been based on ‘flawed thinking’ by Whitehall.

A shadow minister has claimed cuts to adult social care have been based on ‘flawed thinking' by Whitehall. 

Shadow social care minister Barbara Keeley MP told delegates at the Association of Adult Social Services spring seminar there was too little understanding in Westminster about how social care was critical to health and wellbeing, which meant it was still an ‘easy target' for cuts.
