Council leaders will seek a ‘very early meeting' with Jeremy Hunt after his reappointment as secretary of state for health.

Chair of the Local Government Association's (LGA) community wellbeing board, Cllr Izzi Seccombe, told The MJ she would be looking to have a conversation with the Government on the whole health and social care system, including the Better Care Fund (BCF).
