Northern Powerhouse minister Andrew Percy has backed a mayoral devolution deal for South Yorkshire.

Mr Percy, who replaced James Wharton in Theresa May's reshuffle last week, signed off the plan to create a mayoral office for the Sheffield city region yesterday as one of his first acts in the role.
