Southend confirms chief executive appointment

Colin Ansell has been announced as the new chief executive of Southend-on-Sea City Council.

Colin Ansell has been announced as the new chief executive of Southend-on-Sea City Council.

He is currently corporate director of adults, health, strategy and change at Newham LBC, where he has workend since 1999, and served as interim chief executive from May 2022 to September 2023.
