Surrey CC is the latest authority to rejected the Government’s 'unfair' four-year settlement offer as councils scramble to submit their responses on deadline day.

Surrey CC is the latest authority to reject the Government's 'unfair' four-year settlement offer as councils scramble to submit their responses on deadline day.

The Conservative-led council, which faces negative RSG of £17m in 2019/20, followed Lancashire CC in turning down the offer.
