Blair McPherson argues recruitment panels are often inadequate and risk serious consequences.

As an experienced recruiter and a frequent chair of recruitment panels, I am surprised there are not more formal recruitment complaints from both internal and external candidates.

From my experience, panels are often inadequately prepared and do not allow sufficient time.
