Tributes paid following death of 'inspirational' former chief executive

Carole Hudson, who stepped down as chief executive of St Helens MBC in 2015, has died at the aged of 63.

Carole Hudson, who stepped down as chief executive of St Helens MBC in 2015, has died at the age of 63.

The council has confirmed that Ms Hudson passed away in her sleep while on holiday in America over the weekend.
