The sustainability and transformation plan (STP) process has been too ‘NHS-centric and over-engineered' and has lacked transparency, according to the local government sector.

After the last of the STP challenge sessions this week, the Local Government Association (LGA) said it would ‘push for clarity, transparency, greater local flexibility, and more realistic timescales and asks'.
