Council pension schemes will be affected by a legal ruling that found proposed changes unlawfully discriminatory.

Chief Secretary to the Treasury, Liz Truss, confirmed in an announcement this week that local government pensions would be affected, along with those of the NHS, civil service, teachers, emergency services and military.
