Districts have demanded a ministerial commitment to the New Homes Bonus (NHB) amid concerns lack of clarity is preventing them from drawing up their four-year budgets.
In a submission hoped to sway the chancellor to continue financial support for the scheme ahead of the Autumn Statement, the District Councils' Network (DCN) warned that the Government's failure to clarify its position had created ‘great uncertainty' among authorities attempting to agree four-year settlements.
