Westmorland and Furness appoints first CEO

The current chief executive at Barrow BC, Sam Plum, will take on the role at the new unitary council.

The new Westmorland and Furness unitary council has appointed its first chief executive.

Current CEO at Barrow BC, Sam Plum, will take on the role at the end of the year, ahead of the council's vesting day on 1 April 2023.
