The Government has announced it will be pressing forward with £200m in-year public health cuts despite protests from local authorities.

The Government has announced it will be pressing forward with £200m in-year public health cuts despite protests from local authorities.

The Department of Health today published the outcome of its summer consultation on public health grant allocations and has decided it will be going ahead with the reduction of local authority grants by an equal percentage.
