WLGA calls for talks

The Welsh Local Government Association (WLGA) has called for all leaders and parties to be involved in national talks next May to determine the future for public services after Plaid Cymru struck a deal with the Labour Welsh Government.

The Welsh Local Government Association (WLGA) has called for all leaders and parties to be involved in national talks next May to determine the future for public services after Plaid Cymru struck a deal with the Labour Welsh Government to pass the Local Government Bill.

The agreement will prevent council mergers taking place before the National Assembly for Wales elections in 2016.
