Suffolk CC has parted company with its controversial chief executive, Andrea Hill, with immediate effect following the conclusion of an inquiry into allegations of bullying and concerns over her expenses claims.

As part of a negotiated settlement with the county, Ms Hill will receive a year's salary - £218,000.
