Ministers risk leaving vulnerable asylum seekers in ‘limbo' and reliant on scarce council funding unless amendments are made to the Illegal Migration Bill, experts have warned.

Speaking to The MJ, associate director for migration at the IPPR think-tank, Marley Morris, said he feared the Bill could mean refugees were ‘left in limbo' by plans to block asylum seeker status for people arriving illegally on small boats.
