Town halls have urged ministers to re-design government support for asylum-seeking children following the Home Office's surprise decision to drop the Dubs Amendment.

London Councils, which represents authorities in the capital, has launched a lobbying campaign for a ‘total cost' financial package to support asylum-seeking children entering the capital under a revised government initiative.
