MPs have reopened a Parliamentary inquiry into the impact of the benefit cap after an initial study fell victim to 2017’s snap General Election.

MPs have reopened a Parliamentary inquiry into the impact of the benefit cap after an initial study fell victim to 2017's snap General Election.

The House of Commons' Work and Pensions Committee will assess the impact of the Government's initial cap of £500 per week for families, announced in 2010, and the 2015 decision to lower the weekly limit to £442.
