It has been a busy few weeks here in the Lake District with millions of visitors making the most of some of the best scenery and attractions available in the UK. It's also one of the busiest times for our council and its staff.

We have been working with members at updating the council plan. While the four themes of housing, economy, environment and health and wellbeing will remain, there may be some changes to how we deliver them.
