Birmingham City Council has announced a shortlist of four bidders for its pioneering 'Energy Savers' scheme.

Birmingham City Council has announced a shortlist of four bidders for its pioneering 'Energy Savers' scheme to upgrade and improve local homes.

Carillion Energy Services, and consortia led by E.ON Energy Solutions, RWE npower and SSE Energy Solutions have been shortlisted for the £1.5bn contract, which will see the city council team up with 26 contracting authorities to deliver a city-regional deal to reduce carbon emissions and deliver energy saving measures to 15,000 households.
