Bournemouth Council suspended senior officer who warned local councillors about the authority's outsourcing deal with Mouchel.

Bournemouth Council has suspended a senior officer who warned local councillors about the authority's proposed outsourcing deal with Mouchel.

Stephen Parker, Bournemouth's chief accountant, has been suspended on full pay. It follows an email sent by Mr Parker to members prior to a Cabinet meeting last week, in which he raised a number of issues relating to the deal.
