Bringing public health into local government

Bringing public health into local government is a step in the right direction. But it is only a small fraction of what is needed, according to Lawrence Conway.

For the last 2 years I have had the privilege of representing the chief executives of all the Cumbria authorities, on our health and well-being board.

This has given me a varied and exciting insight into the world of the NHS, PCT's, Clinical Commissioning Groups, Healthwatch and public health generally.
