Carolyn Downs to leave LGA

Local Government Association (LGA) chief executive Carolyn Downs has been appointed as the new chief executive of Brent LBC.

Local Government Association (LGA) chief executive Carolyn Downs has been appointed as the new chief executive of Brent LBC. 

Ms Downs will take over from current interim chief executive, Christine Gilbert, who has been in post since September 2012.
