The chair of the County Councils’ Network has vowed to hold the Local Government Association’s (LGA) ‘feet to the flames’ as top-tier authorities seek fairer funding.

The chair of the County Councils' Network has vowed to hold the Local Government Association's (LGA) ‘feet to the flames' as top-tier authorities seek fairer funding.

Cllr Paul Carter, Conservative leader of Kent CC, told The MJ it was too early to judge whether the LGA had adequately responded to counties' concerns that they were playing second fiddle to districts.
