Clark hands LGA planning concession

Smith Square claims ‘an important commitment’ secured from planning minister Greg Clark giving councils 'appropriate' time to form local development plans.

Smith Square claims it has secured ‘an important commitment' from planning minister Greg Clark over proposed planning reforms that should ensure localities decide upon new developments in their areas.

The Local Government Association reported on 21 October that the Government has listened to its concerns over allowing an ‘appropriate' time period in which local areas can put together their local development plans.
