Mendip DC has been told to think more about its financial plans as it faces a £3.3m gap to fill over the next five years.

A corporate peer challenge by the Local Government Association (LGA) suggested the council should increase income, grow its tax base through growth and ‘be more commercial in its approaches to spend and investment'.
