Local government experts fear the cost of living crisis could lead pension scheme members and employers to request contribution holidays.

The Pensions and Lifetime Savings Association last week revealed that 19% of schemes it surveyed, including funds within the giant Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS), reported savers asking about reducing or stopping retirement contributions.
