Harborough DC has said it will not challenge local government secretary Michael Gove's decision to grant planning permission for a controversial local ‘super prison'.

The district initially rejected planning permission for the proposed site next to HMP Gartree on the grounds that it was an unsustainable location and that further development would harm a countryside location designated as an Area of Separation.
