Council leader opens London Stock Exchange

Aberdeen City Council leader, Cllr Jenny Laing, today led the opening ceremony of the London Stock Exchange to celebrate the city’s recent £370m bond issue.

Aberdeen City Council leader, Cllr Jenny Laing, today led the opening ceremony of the London Stock Exchange to celebrate the city's recent £370m bond issue.

The Scottish local authority completed the launch of its over-subscribed bond in November and the cash will be used to support a £1bn capital investment programme.
