Rossendale BC has issued a warning about its long-term stability – citing an increasing reliance on dwindling reserves and a funding gap of £1m a year.

Rossendale BC has issued a warning about its long-term stability – citing an increasing reliance on dwindling reserves and a funding gap of £1m a year.

While the Lancashire-based borough has found sufficient money with which to compile a balanced budget for 2018/19, the authority's head of finance, Philip Seddon, has warned that the town hall must continue to deliver new efficiencies and income to ensure its financial stability.
