West Lindsey DC is celebrating a success in its campaign to protect a £300m regeneration project earmarked for a former RAF airbase but co-opted for asylum accommodation.

The Lincolnshire-based district today (28 May) reached an ‘agreement in principle' with the Home Office over RAF Scampton, under which both parties will share the site.
