High Peak BC and Staffordshire Moorlands DC should jointly improve their pay progression policies and delivery capacity, a peer review by the Local Government Association (LGA) has concluded.

Peer reviewers warned that steady progress could be undermined by failures to tackle key pay issues across both councils and a relative lack of focus on outcomes rather than strategy.
