CQC appoints new chief to replace Behan

The Care Quality Commission has appointed Ian Trenholm as its new chief executive.

The Care Quality Commission has appointed Ian Trenholm as its new chief executive.

Mr Trenholme, who will take over from Sir David Behan when he leaves in July, has been chief executive if the NHS Blood and Transplant since 2014.
