More than one-third of senior civil servants have left their posts since the coalition came to power – with the DCLG leading Whitehall's 'exit league', new figures have revealed.

More than one-third of senior civil servants have left their posts since the coalition came to power – with the DCLG leading Whitehall's ‘exit league', new figures have revealed.

Data provided to an Opposition Labour MP, Gareth Thomas, reveals that 43% of Eland House's senior officials have left the department since 2010.
