Doubts raised over mass testing rollout

Public health officials have questioned the feasibility and effectiveness of extending mass COVID-19 testing in tier three areas.

Public health officials have cast doubt on national plans to roll out mass COVID-19 testing.

The Government plans to extend the mass use of rapid lateral flow tests, which has been piloted in Liverpool, to all tier three areas in England following lockdown.
