Council concerns over home secretary Suella Braverman's handling of the asylum crisis have been laid bare in a hard-hitting letter from leaders.

Correspondence sent to Ms Braverman last week, seen by The MJ, detailed what Surrey's councils described as the ‘absence of a cohesive overall programme' across Government for ‘monitoring, managing and supporting' current asylum, immigration and resettlement policies.
