MPs have accused an ex-local enterprise partnership (LEP) chairman of a ‘cover up' after he refused to reveal details of a deal to develop taxpayer-funded land.
Mark Reeve, ex-chair of the Greater Cambridgeshire and Greater Peterborough LEP (GCGPLEP), refused the Public Accounts Committee's (PAC) invitation to reveal when a firm he also chairs signed a £20m deal to develop an enterprise zone at Alconbury Weald. The LEP has invested millions of pounds in the site.
